The opposition was woeful. No goal until 3rd quarter, that was a free.
The thing about Jesse's motza was that they were straight kicks. Through the middle. Forget rucking, he should be at full forward. He is getting better as the year progresses, and that gives me hope. He has not plateaued he is still improving. Anticipation and reading the play needs to be his next focus....its still no right. If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

I think they're both pretty mediocre as key forwards. Jesse better as a ruckman and Tommy as a key defender.Comment

I seriously cannot understand this obsession with White by some people on this forum. I've said it before-in my 19 years as a Swans Member he is the 'worst' player I've ever seen. Not worst in terms of natural ability or footy skills (though he's close), but worst in the infuriating way he goes about his footy-he's everything a Swans Footballer shouldn't be. Countless chances to impress, countless chances wasted by efforts that are at times, quite frankly embarrassing.
The only consolation is that reading between Horses lines after last weeks usual pathetic effort, he'll never play Seniors again. And for those of you comparing Walsh's over 4 games to that of White's 50 - pull your heads in.Regards,

We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Look, there have been a lot of worse players for the swans over my thirty years of following them. he is no world beater but if he was he would have been higher than a pick in the seventies or whatever.
but he does get a bad run - in his last game he was playing in front of a midfield that was beaten and playing kick in hope and having Brian lake for company.
I don't want to bag reid and i am not but the comparison of who he has played on and when for his stats this year would not do reid a lot of favours. I still think reid leaps out as a chb - he would never get outmarked and would often outmark his forward given they would both be attacking the ball rather than blocking etc.
Anyway I'd say Jesse won't play again under horse. It is a pity that he played for us when our midfield never really had anyone who could pass it like a willo or a maxfield, or when our strategy involved passing to a forward rather than just bombing it long to the contest.Comment

Daff now runs an upmarket pub & in his defence was a good player with Richmond once. Kinda like Scotty Russell, Brett Allison & Demie ... we got them a little too late.
Doughnuts Chambers, however ... ahhhh whatever happened to Paul Chambers? Does he still play footy? Had a VFL stint & then travelled overseas for a while if I recall ...Comment
