micheal. one goal and 2 assists and that hand pass to goodes and goal. his a keeper. looks like we founded that missing centre player we needed. now keep him in team next week.

we hope to get over the line. very much a wet weather game.

We were missing a centre player? I thought our midfield was looking ok these days. That said, haven't seen a first game this good for a long time.

I think we're a pretty good chance at making the Grand Final this year, and we'll give it a fair shake. Save your money, people.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Very good display by the Swans across the board.

Essendon top 8, but not top 4 material imo. The conditions didn't suit their style or the height of their team, but I don't see it and with a full list we'll have their height easily covered.

Great debut by Mitchell and terrible luck for Tommy, but as the commentators said good day to lose a tall for a small. He gave the rest of the team 1 1/2 quarters start and still finished 3rd in the DT points.

Looks like the Great White Hope will return next week.

The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Terrific defensive work by the back half and the midfield. Hocking held Hanners until the last quarter, but Hanners lifted in the last quarter and I thought his work was very instrumental in us going away. Great to see Mummy back in town. If we are going to compare Tom with Diesel, which is a big call, then I will say that the difference is Mitchell decidedly quicker. Essendon's problem is clearly their forward line. They appear to have only one player, Crameri, capable of kicking multiple goals. By the way who played on Watson?

Just want to say that Bird was bloody fantastic before he went off with injury.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Great win over a team touted as top 4 (at least top 8)

                              lose Reid.
Have an emotional roller coaster of a week for the club.
                              Appalling conditions.
                              Lose Walsh early.
                              Goodes Flat early.

And to win so emphatically means the Premiers have returned to top form.
McVeigh played like it was dry weather.

                              Another great team effort.

I hoped to get at least 8 points from the last 4 weeks the way we were playing.
We go 10, not too shabby.
                              Now for the Comeback Crows.

Then a quick rest, before the big Tippet debuts!!
