    Lewis Jetta re-signs

Great news for the club and Jetta with such little fanfare:

This club is the so well run. We have only lost Darren Jolly in the last ten years of players we wanted to keep.

Such great news. So stoked at the retention rate of our premiership players. Well done Jetts. Come on Mummy, sign up and stay on board!

True. And look who we got for him!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

We cannot afford to lose Mumford. Against Hawthorn we got absolutely murdered around the stoppages, therefore causing us to get slaughtered around the midfield hence why we lost so convincingly. Mumford is so important in Jimmy's opinion. God help us if we have Pyke as our number 1 next year. I love big Pykey but the work Mummy does around the stoppages, blocking, sheperding and feeding off to the midfield we must keep him.

Swanner Roos admits he wanted to keep Schneider and Dempster but couldn't fit them into the salary cap.

Great news the lad wants to stay here. It could have been so easily him wanting to go home. He has admitted homesickness in the past. Great news indeed. This may have been impacting on his game as much as shin soreness. These things can cause young blokes a lot of anxiety.
