    I have a dream....a Band of brothers!

    we have

    Ted and Xavier Richards
    Keiren and Brandon Jack

to complete the set we need....

Ben Reid All australian and the hardest to procure

Joel Tippett key back (197cm) who could deal with resting ruck man/gorillas

and Jonathon Marsh all the skills like his brother more of a high half forward/ goal kicker

all three are kpp so it could be interesting to see what happens at the end of the year. the swans will definitely want to pick up at least one kpp to have for the next few years as other players get injuries or leave the club

If I was Adam Goodes' brother, I wouldn't want to be at the same club. That man casts a long shadow and I'd be longing to make my own path. I'm sure they must dream of running out together rather than against each other. But imagine what it's like if you have your brother, dual Brownlow medallist, premiership captain x 2, All Australian etc and you're still just finding your feet in the league.

Wouldn't mind me a bit of Jono Marsh. Kicked 3 against Vic M and was named in the bests.

I think with the injuries LRT has faced, he may hang up the boots sooner rather than later. Maybe not this year, but very possibly next year. Ted is also beginning to get on, and AJ will be returning from his ACL. Joel Tippett would be a sensible investment in that case.

Ben Reid would be almost impossible to get. I mean, if he wanted to come that would be brilliant, but I struggle to see it happening.

Cam Mooney apparently floated a rumour that Heath Shaw wanted to come to the Swans as well. That would be pretty awesome...
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Not sure how we missed out on trying Brett Goodes, a mistake in hindsight.

Jonathon Marsh yes please, Ben Reid signed a three year contract extension late last year, Joel Tippett would fit our needs and is mature, Heath Shaw rumour is interesting as there appears to be a bit of unsettled tension at the Magpies and there may be a grain of truth in it.

I think trade and draft time this year will be interesting as usual but also critically important for us as we have a number of key players approaching the end of their careers and good trading/recruiting will see us make best use over the nex 4-5 years of what may be the premier midfield in the AFL.

Although still a good player, Heath Shaw may be past his best now. If we got him in a Mortonesque deal then I'd say 'Shaw', but otherwise no deal.
