    Trade Deal close

    Former All-Australian ruckman Matthew Allan is likely to move to Essendon next season after the Bombers came to an agreement with Carlton over his services today.

    Allan will join Essendon in exchange for the Bombers third round draft pick.
    He will solve the club's ruck woes and form a potentially strong combination with David Hille.

          i dunno if it is that great for the bombers, i was really impressed by laycock last year at NSO and he looked the goods for a young ruckman... i spose they have to replace alessio though

              The only sticking point with the deal is Allan's contract.

              Essendon can't fit the 4 brown paper bags he's currently on within their cap and are only offering 1 internet deal.
