    Changes and youth

So, surely White is back in, he shouldn't of been dropped in the first place, he was playing good football, finally using his good size and pace in terrible conditions, and then the good weather, big ground match came and he got dropped, no wonder it's taking him a while to reach his full potential, he's confidence would be getting shot down every time he is dropped.

Like, early last year, against North Melbourne, came in as second ruck and a forward, ended up playing better than the first ruck (Seaby) and created scores in the forward 50, NEK MINNIT dropped. That would be a terrible feeling, especially for confidence, I still totally disagree that he got dropped last week, we could've gone with an extra tall, we have to get used to it anyway! With Goodes and LRT set to return later in the year.

Anyway, if White gets dogged again, I hope it's only for Tim Membrey, I've loved seeing the youth this year, and this kid seems exciting. Although I'd like to see both him and White in the forward line, giving room for Mitchell, Lamb and Young Jack some more time in the midfield.
    Especially Jack, love he's speed!

So, who has impressed you more so far? Jack or Lamb? We've seen flashes of brilliance from both!
I'm going to go with Jack - JUST.
Just because of his speed and that four goal haul.

Future is looking bright for these young bloodes!

It's a tough one RE White. I would say that he has been unlucky overall with selection in's and outs and positional requirements. BUT he has had more chances to bite at the cherry than the majority of kids that come and go through clubs. Whats the average seasons on a list? 4?... I think the writings on the wall, and the selection committee just see him as depth.

First year players that have excited me the most?

    Order:
Rampe - Most pressured position played by the youngins. Stands up and disposes well!
Mitchell - Lots of midfield support, but matching them like a 2 year vet.
Jack - Makes the most of his chances.
Lamb - Just hasn't quite clicked, but hasn't disapointed.
Xav - Barely had a run.

I'm most hanging out for Membrey. Just like the look of him playing, presenting and his accuracy. We need a key forward young gun to start to develop to complement our monsters and smalls!

I think Tim could turn into a lead up forward in the Modra vein. He doesn't take the speckies that Modra did but he is really strong overhead and leads very well. Opponents find it hard to move him once he is positioned on the lead and set to mark. Even Lions, GWS & Suns backs had problems with his ability to stop and prop then mark. He is a wonderful kick at goal, no angle is too much.
