Jesse has been playing a break the lines type of footy in the twos and has been very successful. He is so strong and manages to get his hands free all the time so therefore can handball and did today incredibly well in tough situations. He can play a lot of roles, 2nd ruck/ruuck-rover at centre bounces, wing that is so fast and strong he is almost a second mid, forward, back! Well anywhere. By the way a lot has been said of Dane and so it should but I would love to say what a @@@@ hot game Dre played today on Darling. The Dear only got one goal and Dre beat him 2/3.

Pretty sure Rampe played on Darling primarily and then Hill when WC went smaller as Richards took Darling instead

Dre was more of a spare man and he did his job well

Sometimes that was the case as in the first quarter. But sometimes Teddy had Darling if there wasn't a resting ruck. But later when they had a resting ruck Dre got Darling for quite a while, shared with Dane who also played on Wellingham or Masten. Yes when West Coast went one in defence Dre was our one out, bloody stupid of them because he is such a bloody good kick.

Just got back from the game. Fantastic performance and nothing better then going to Subi and watching a Swans win. Eagles supporters are a total joke.

White looked very good and outshone Tippett for most part, even if Reid is fit I wouldn't be dropping White.

Our midfield is unbelievable. Hanners, Jack, Kennedy, ROK, Bird.....awesome! Harry had a great impact as the sub.

Can't actually think of a bad player.

            Good times!

Agree. Would like to see him as sub and cunningham get a full game. That's if there's no changes..

A very good win over a team that's better than its ladder position suggests, especially on their turf. So many kids in the team yet we continue to roll. Hannebery and Jack the Elder are both elite. The beauty of our dual half back system is that when Malceski is tagged it still leaves McVeigh free to do his thing. It was noticeable that Smith stepped up to take on the distributing role with Mal being shut down. Clever stuff from the coaching staff and the players.

A word on White, a player who divides opinion on this site from blind loyalty to jaded scepticism. I thought he drifted out of the game a bit towards the end but his first half in particular was outstanding, especially considering where he was being asked to play. Nice work Jesse.

Was it just me or did Tippett really come across as underdone? His defensive chasing efforts made TDL look like Usain Bolt.

Apparently he rolled an ankle in the 1st Q

Ah, that explains a bit, as until those last few minutes that was his least impressive outing for us to date (tho credit to MacKenzie who played well).

Fabulous effort, we're loving Subi these days, and why wouldn't we with so many elite runners? Besides the obvious gems, kudos to Nic Smith who played an absolute blinder.

Any word on ROK? Looked like a head knock but afl.com is describing it as a leg?

I quite enjoyed watching the game today. It looked like it was a lovely day over in Perth.

It was great seeing Mr Smith getting a chance to show some toe bringing the ball forward. Amazing to think LeCras hasn't kicked a goal against us!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
