Did anyone see Hannebery almost tackle Parker in the third???The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.Comment

Think ROK is fine, he tweeted there were no injuries, so I take that as an honest assessment. Think they took him off as precaution and someone had to go so that Harry could get a run.
Very satisfying game to watch. Bits of the midfield fights would make fantastic slomo because I couldn't keep up sometimes. They really are good.
Thrilled for Jesse. He is just so good when he is good. He looks so much more confident and I have yet to see a happier and engaging face when one of the other boys does something worth noting.
Jared Crouch tweeted he felt like a proud father. Have to agree with him. He is sending his charges to the senior games with instilled confidence in themselves and a knowledge of their ability and game plan. Not one of them has appeared to be out of place. Cast your mind back to watching the painful transition of some of our best players now and you can see what I mean. His boys are self assured, and have knowledge. That takes good teaching.
Hanners is a gem.If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

Cunningham only had 2 kicks that directly resulted in 2 Tippett marks and 2 Tippett goals.
2 handballs, one quick fire one that missed it's target due to an Eagle hand in the way. Don't recall the other one.
Not a bad 2013 debut Harry!!Comment

So in the past 2 years, one a Premiership year and the other still to be decided, clearly our best performances have been at the MCG, Footy Park and Subi, all big grounds with wide open spaces.
Yet you can be almost guaranteed that leading into this weeks game, we will read all about how well the Swans play the SCG and how the small ground suits our tight stoppage style blah, blah, blah. And of course, if it's wet, we are almost unbeatable because of our game style.
Seriously, this years finals will probably only have 2, maybe 3 survivors from 2005, but the media still see us playing the same game style.Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

Agree, think a full game for Cunningham and a little rest in the vest for BJ who's had a big month. Looking forward to BJ's development over the next couple of years, he's coming from a long way back development wise but shows some X Factor.Comment

Swans performances like this beg the following questions:
Come finals time, with no margin for error, would you rather have:
- An in-form White or an out-of-form Reid?
- An in-form White or an out-of-form Goodes?
- An in-form Brandon Jack or an out-of-form Jetta?
- An in-form Rohan or an out-of-form Jetta?
- An in-form Everitt or an out-of-form LRT?"Take me down to the Paradise City where the grass is green and the Swans win pretty."Comment

Awesome midfield.
Jesse's first half was as good as he's ever played.
Statswatch: Hannebery not only got 40 possessions, but had 80% efficiency as well. The whole team went at 78% despite West Coast laying 24 more tackles. By comparison, efficiency against GWS was 76%. That's a well-drilled team. The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment

Just as an aside one of the things that Jesse has often been criticized for has been his failure to throw his body around. To his great credit I reckon there was a a one on four where Jesse charged the pack, crashed it and brought the ball to ground - maybe in the third quarter ? But I was very happy with that.Comment
