    Another Mitchell?

Was listening to the game today on radio. During the last quarter, when the game had fizzled out and the players going through the motions, the Perth based commentators were talking about Tom Mitchell and mentioned that there is a brother...another Mitchell!!!...first name not known.

He's 15-16 years old, playing in Victoria, family has moved across from Perth apparently, and is tearing it apart, 60 possessions in his last game(remind you of anyone?)

Under the father/son rule, do we get 1st crack at him? I think we do.

Yes, we have first rights to him if he agrees to be F/S. But he may decide to put himself into the National Draft and hope to get to a club like the Bullies or the Tankers!

Better add him to our F/S watch list, seems like he's a highly probable, a year behind Josh Dunkley? Lots to look forward to in future NDs :-)

First I have heard about Dunks having a kid...Didn't Kelly have kids about the same age?

I heard an interview with Dunkley Senior. He still seems a bit cut by the Swans...He reckons he was 'retired' by the club early.

He went on to say, he hoped his son would play for a Melbourne based club...Because it's closer to home.

Hopefully the son has other ideas....And hopefully he never played kick to kick with Dad.

Any parent who would advise their child to NOT go to the Swans if given the chance should be reported to DOCS immediately...

I have heard that Dunks's kid is a good one, but there is little chance we will see him in the red and white due to Andrew's feelings.

His son was in the Swans changerooms after the Grand Final. Surely that has to be an incentive??

If I recall correctly...Dunks was a shocker of a kick-great guy though...and one Leo Barry was ready to take his place.....I think we all know how well that turned out.

Andrew Dunkley was a fantastic defender, with his strengths being overhead marking, punching opponents heads in marking duels and handballing.

Great player and service to the Swans. If his son/s have those attributes and can kick, he'll be a player.

Dunks was awesome - hard as and a top notch fullback.

But anyone who has stress attacks when Reg is about to kick the ball ain't seen nothin' if they don't remember Dunks....
