    Alex Johnson Knee Setback!

According to Neil Cordy's twitter account, AJ's knee has failed again! Is looking at the Lars option this time. Sad for the young fella but hopefully the Lars will work wonders a la Mal! Wish him all the best!

Stunningly disappointing news, really feel for AJ.

That will be two seasons lost if he goes traditional so think that LARS will seriously considered, particularly when the LARS poster boy played along side him in a flag!

damn..... really was looking forward to getting him back for rd 1 next year.

Keep your chin up AJ, we Swans fans have long memories and we won't forget any time soon just how good you were in 2012, and just how good you'll be when you get back on the park

Since Davo and Schaubs moved on I've had some degree of emotional detachment from the individual fortunes of the players (yes, including big Jesse) but I have to say that hearing this I was completely gutted for the kid.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

After all that work and waiting. Terribly disappointing.
Hang in there AJ - we'll wait.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Hope the poor lad gets LARS and gets back on the field asap. I think he will be a very important player for us over the next few years.

Makes you wonder what sort follow up investigations they have in place to ensure the graft is working. Surely some type of regular scan is in order.

This is very sad and serious. Depending on what needs to be done to 'undo' the first reco (screw removals etc.), the time for a revision and recovery may be much longer than the original. It is very possible that if a traditional revision reco is required AJ could miss the entirety of next season. I hope the first job can be cleaned up easily and he can opt for a LARS and get back playing early next season.

                            Give LARS a crack.

I get the sense that in true Swans-official style, they are understating and meandering around how this second injury came to be. Sydney 'Euphemism' Swans.

Just unbelievable. Are we cursed? Our players don't recover, they get worse trying.

I've never heard of this happening before in the AFL.
