    Swans on insider

With all the footy shows loving the swans I have decided I want to go back to being anonymous. Too much focus on us and not liking it. Insider really focused on Swans tonight.

It was a Swans love fest, wasn't it? I loved it, but there was a part of me that felt strange to have us firmly on the radar - whatever happened to under the radar?

I remember last year everyone started getting paranoid about no longer being under the radar. Pretty sure we were all fairly happy with the result then.

It's about time we got the credit we deserve. I loved it.

The last time we got all this love was after the Adelaide game. We had a week off to really let the heads swell even more so before coming down to earth with an almighty thud against Port.

There was far too much info about The Swans for opposition coaches on Insider for my liking, but they all try so hard to talk faster and faster than each other, maybe they wouldn't understand it anyway. How they can actually identify the tiny figures is a bit bewildering.

I couldn't agree more about the little figures. You can't even distinguish the different colours of the teams. I reckon that part is just bull@@@@. And they don't handle the technology in a way that gives you confidence in what they're saying.
But I get even more cranked up with their crazy over use of 'elite' and 'gone to a different level". Last night they belted us with those expressions over and over.
Oh well, while i'm in the angry chair, why does Dunstall get a free pass every time anything re Hawthorn comes up? He is either a commentator or he isn't. Same with the magpie president whose name will never again pass my lips.
Maybe even a swipe at Robbo while I'm in the mood. Does he turn up at 729 for 360? Never knows what's coming up, and asks his associate questions he should know that answers to..so often has no idea who the team being discussed is playing next week. For crying out loud, he's the senior footy writer at the Herald Sun. He must know SOMETHING, but you'd never suspect..All hot air, false indignation and laughing at how dumb he is, as if it's a virtue.
OK, off the whinge now..just felt like a few things I needed to say. Carry on folks.

Big deal about the publicity we are getting. We deserve it and as far as I am concerned Fox Footy gives a great insight into clubs. Way, way beyond the days of having a footy panel on Friday and Saturday nights. We may not agree with everything the head bobbers say but it is pure footy and I for one lap it up. Bugger this under the radar crap. We are a top side and deserve every bit of cudos we get. I just wish my dad was still alive to see all the publicity. He would be glued to the TV.

Thanks GongSwan, good work, came up crystal clear.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

David King loves us so much now that I wouldn't be surprised to see him at the next match decked out in full Swans gear and scarf.
