    Conceding the first two gaols.

This was mentioned on Fox Footy today and I said this to my mates last weekend., that we seem to concede the first two goals to maybe get a handle on the opposition then kick arse.

Do you think this is a tactic by the boys??

Probably just a reflection of the Swans being the team to beat. Hence every team turns up fired up for a big game in a way our guys can't match every week.

Heading has a spelling mistake gaols instead of goals.

An observation I've made as early as last year is that our coaches box seem to react very quickly to how the opposition set up and their game plan. And our playing group have many leaders/voices on the field that also have the power to react. Probably our greatest strength which tends to fly under the radar.

+1 for this. We start poorly far too often for my liking, but rarely do we not make the moves quickly to get it back on our terms. When we don't manage to (re hawthorn and port especially), invariably we struggle.

It is a fantastic strength, and that ability to wrestle back control, or just stop the flow of momentum was a key factor in winning the Flag last year. And if we are going to seriously challenge for back to back, it'll need to be again this year.
