Langers I am in awe of your collection. How many hours of game footage do you think you have?

Got me thinking, what other collections of Swans related items & memorabilia do RWOers have? How big are they?

Gee Scott, Weg doesn't go back that far! How did this happen?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

He did them a few years ago, and The HS had an offer to buy them.

I now have all four WEG Premiership Posters

Same. And a Weg poster celebrating the 1960 Night grand final win. Pity WEG never produced anything for the '82 win.

          5 Replica premiership cups.

2012 signed and framed Swans jumper.

Other bits of memorabillia I've kept for no other reason

Every single membership key ring since they were issued (I immediately took a disliking to this years key ring. The 05 key ring was a triangle, and the 06 key ring was a miniature Swans jumper with 06 on the back of it. The 12 key ring was a triangle, and the 13 key ring is a jumper with 13 on the back. Can you see where I'm going here??)

          Every single membership card.

          Winning grand final tickets.

          Winning grand final footy records.

In terms of games footage, nothing compared to our fellow poster Langers. Although my video copy of the 96 Qualifying final has a piece of AFL history in it. Right there during an ad break is a message from the Hawthorn president of the time, urging Hawthorn members to vote in favour of the merger with Melbourne!! How things might have been.

My collection is solely limited at the moment to the 2005 and 2012 Panorama grand final pictures, plus the 2005 and 2012 WEG pics as well. Lots of random bits of merchandise however.

Going to have to change what wall is my "Premiership wall" if we win the flag this year

Thx for the heads up. I'll ensure to take the 1.5pts start in the GF....

Anybody who has a family membership soon racks up some caps with six to collect every year, especially if the kids memberships are in names of mythical family members. The extra 4 kids tickets get many a friend thru the gate...

Hah, sorry I meant who has the greatest number of types of caps. Having 6 of each year is cheating! When did the caps start being issued anyway?

I have video'd and dvd'd nearly all winning games from 1997 (plus 4 of 1996) and moved the video'd ones to dvd. Why? because 1996 was my first year, and I would tape the games to rewatch and teach myself the rules and regs etc. I would then overtape them. However I hit summer, and got the itches. I had almost NO footy to watch. Hooked big time. So from there on in I recorded all the games, and kept them. Fortunately in about 2003 I think it was Foxtel showed many of the old games and I was able to dvd those ones. I didn't keep the truly crap wins though. However, there are a lot of them which are fun to watch...a lot. Sheeeze I miss Foxtel.......

Also have all my membership key rings from 1997, and hats, and tags.

How did you make a copy from VHS to DVD? I have most of the 05/06 games on VHS sitting gathering dust in a lonely corner of the living room

So long ago I almost forget. I think I played the vhs on the tv and set my (blessed) hard drive recorder to copy it from tv, then copied it to dvd. I would be lost without that HD recorder.

However if you want me to run copies of them for you PM me and I may be able to help.

I've got 26 different Sydney/South Melbourne neck tie designs. I actually have 28 Swans ties but I somehow ended up with 3 of the same tie.
I'm always on the look out for any tie that I haven't already got, if anyone is looking to sell one (or to trade for one of my spare ones) feel free to let me know
