    Longmire's most used phrases

Been wanted to start this thread for a while. Some banter with Triple B in another thread tells me it's time....

What are John Longmire's most used phrases? Every time I tune in to an interview or press conference of his, he rolls out his classic phrases every time. Most of them have a theme of understating things, or playing them down.

    I'll get it started:

"He's an important player for us."

    "Goodesey is a reasonable player."

"We're just looking for him to come in and play his role."

"Four quarters of hard, contested footy."

    Anything else?
"Take me down to the Paradise City where the grass is green and the Swans win pretty."

Stella: Roosy, what do you have to say about this thread?
Roosy: *sharp breath intake through clenched teeth* Yeah, nah. Look the thing about Horsey is, he's... he's just a great... he really does just... so yeah... *sharp breath intake through clenched teeth*
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

                  haha all gold and true!

I actually watch less and less interviews with them all. It's like they are on repeat. Press conferences and media interviews throw abit more light

                    "... just a little bit ..." - followed by sore/uncertain/lacking condition/more seriously injured than we thought/etc.
Matt Cameron seems to have picked up the same habit, just a little bit.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
