I'm delighted for Gaz. This may be his only game for the year, but what a great move by the coaching staff to (deservedly) give him a taste/reminder of firsts to help keep him motivated for next year.

Good move to rest Mitchell and recall Jed. BJ could also do with a full game in the seconds. Overall I think it's good, disciplined player management by the coaching staff.

I don't see why Rohan would only play one game. He is going well in the twos and ready for a shot and we will need pace come finals. Jetts won't be ready until right on the death and Rooster will give us that dash we need going into the forward line. He is also a very good overhead mark.

Does tanking apply to the NEAFL? And would penalties apply to the AFL competition?

Maybe when the AFL commission meets on the 26st, they'll put the Essendon issue on the back burner to address the alleged Cygnet tanking matter.

And maybe this was the surprise that Ugg was alluding to? I still haven't got this one figured out.

A friend will be in the vicinity of the SCG today and is wondering if general admission tickets are likely to be available if he decides to wander over to the ground to catch a look at the Swans.

Ticketek have GA as exhausted (which is crap, there'll be empty seats everywhere), but you can still get 'bronze reserved' which are the new seats where the new stand is. They are less then $30 and a late afternoon in the sun, but not looking into it, make them a reasonable option, imho.

GA is sold out but there are Bronze tickets available which are the same price as GA I believe
