AFL Memorabilia - ever wondered what it's worth?

hey, we are after the following:

Better Homes and Gardens TV is looking for an absolute AFL memorabilia collector/fan. We are after someone who has a large collection of AFL memorabilia, such as flags, jerseys, programmes, coins, medals, magazines, autographed items, boots, etc, anything and everything related to AFL.

Ideally it would be things acquired over the years from games and club nights, auctions etc or stuff that has been handed down. Have you ever wondered how much it all could be worth?

We are hoping to be able to come to your home and assess the items and let you know how much they may be worth, you could be sitting on a gold mine! We will not actually be selling the items, just giving an evaluation and letting you know what they could be worth!

If anyone knows of anyone please get in touch with Jarrod Baker, email is [email protected].

I do know that my yuccas are dying and I'm not quite sure why considering their hardy nature. Anyway..,

My memorabilia is in my mind personal, and other than Stuey's Boot, I don' think anything else would be worth anything. Even if it was, wouldn't matter. Its all priceless to me.

I have a 1964 Beatles brooch with pull out pictures of the fab four inside though. Must be worth $10 by now?

I have heaps of stuff... problem is getting it out of storage.
                To me, it's all priceless.
To ebay, it's probably worth about $100.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I spoke to an antique dealer in Camberwell about South Melbourne memorabillia last Saturday. He said it is very collectable and there is someone in Tassie who is a real collector of such. Seasons tickets in particular. Apparently there is not a whole lot in circulation. Same goes for Footscray stuff. I have a South Melbourne mirror and it appears there is not many around. He said it would be interesting to see how it went at auction.

By the way if you have a Tooths or Reich's 1950's Australian Tennis player poster/painting framed and in good nick you are sitting on about $4500.

There's one of those hanging on the wall outside the local pub.

Well, it won't be tomorrow, but....
