I'd love to see Mitch out there tomorrow night for one last game in the red and white.

Oh great. Nobody is back. Awesome.

Check out the epic Freo changes. They have the right idea. We have the wrong idea.

              Hannebery's hand??

Tony Armstrong has been picked for the International Rules squad but apparently isn't even in our top 30.

I see Ugg, when you said there's a 'big in' you meant 'Biggs in'.

You'd have to wonder why you would bring in a new player who has never played before and name Morton as an emergency. Disappointed no Jetta, thought he might be the sub.

I think our season is over after 2nd final we are certainly limping to the finish line.

Is anyone else feeling bitterly disapppointed?

Check out Freo's ins and outs:

That is what WE SHOULD HAVE DONE.

The disrespect shown to Morton makes me very angry. And yes, we're done for the year. We're not even resting players that are exhausted. Only one forced by injuries bad enough. It's a dead rubber FFS.

I'm guessing Jetta and LRT didn't quite come up, otherwise I'm sure Horse would have played them. There wouldn't have been much point making more changes IMO, the Swans have never been big on resting players and this proves it, given three of the changes were forced by injury, though it would have been nice to see Morton in. There aren't that many more we could have brought in. Here's hoping Smith's and Hannebery's injuries only keep them out for this week.

You have to consider Freo's opposition this week vs. ours, also. I would say it's more important for the guys who are in the team to play themselves back into some form ahead of the finals.

So Richmond is resting Jack, Essendon could beat them meaning Collingwood win and go to 5th and prob set up a 2nd final against us at Homebush and Richmond get their second final probably against Freo. Or we could win, Freo lose, and so on and so on - what a weird round everyone is maybe tanking or maybe manipulating things.

He is a backman annew that is why. With Smithy injured we need a like for like replacement and he is the closest as he minds the small forwards in the Twos. Harry cannot do that job and Tony A is not a really great defender, great at working the ball out of defence but not tight.

I think Freo will beat Cats no mater where they play.

Hawks are not resting players they are only replacing injured players. We are resting more than they are, players who would normally play with soft tissue injuries like Smooch. We dropped Chop, damn! Though he really didn't do enough last week. good to see BJ and Harry get a go. Biggs will start I should think if he is replacing Smooch and Harry will get the vest.

First time that I will be hoping Hawthorn beat us. But I think finishing 4th and replaying the Hawks the following week is our best outcome. Can't take of chance of winning and having that cleaver Ross Lyon tanking and taking our Friday night at G spot.

Freo are on a different form line than us. We didn't lose last week - we got smashed. Our problem is to find finals form before the finals find us out.

Plus, with a third of our entire list in the clinic, we're not really in a position to be resting players.

Precisely. Though I do think we could of given Morton a game and rested someone else, but we are clearly trying to keep a decent balance in the team as well.
