Does anyone else get annoyed by Bruce McAvaney & find him subtly biased against Sydney?
Any praise for opposition efforts almost sounds like he's doing his best Meg Ryan impression, & always nit-picking the Swans at every opportunity.
Not just tonight either, every time I hear him commentate.

Just logged in to check the negativity levels - as expected. Hawks have stepped it up in the 3rd and we haven't had the class to go with them at this stage. Not completely surprising, but I put it down more to the Hawks playing well than us not, but what should I expect from a game day thread when we're losing?

Want to see a solid 4th qrtr effort....

To be fair, the Swans haven't played well. Our best is as good as theirs in my eyes. Trouble is, we haven't played our best footy for 9-10 weeks.

Such a poor second half - we have been rubbish. We look tired, slow and nowhere near good enough.

No doubt we will bounce back next week, but I don't think we have much hope come a prelim.

Seriously bruce mcavaney is a hack.... getting to a prelim final doesn't mean that you are automatically in the grand final - dumba**!

Swans get a good go in the Melbourne media - the media have been proven correct tonight - we have run out of legs and we were never a quick side and our best players because of injuries have not had the chance to rest - Hawthorn skill level is just showing us up badly and they are rubbing it in

I feel bad for the players, they will be very disappointed losing by so much. Chin up though I guess, they get to come out next week for a bit of redemption.
