    Hi Annew,

We'll need to look into that for you. Can you please call 1300 663 819 (press 1 for Sydney)?
I've just tested the phone lines, and all seem to be working, so not 100% sure why you couldn't get through - sorry about that!

Hi Jenny, Thanks for responding. Finally spoke to someone in your membership department but they advised they could not help as itis AFL Membership with Swans preference therefore an AFL problem. Of course can't speak to AFL until tomorrow so effectively too late now, one person will miss out because I couldn't register. A bit disappointing.

                Hi Jenny
Thankyou for your assistance, I have sent you a pm but not sure if it went correctly. I managed to obtain a friends barcode so situation disaster averted. Swans membership have been very helpful but I will take I up with the AFL.

I want to be in that car!!!

Jewels... I'm as nervous as. This week can't go fast enough; and to make it worse, it's a twilight game. I have to wait ALL DAY for them to play.

I want to ring the club first thing Monday morning and book my granny after-party tickets!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Will also need to book breakfast at Sweethearts Sth Melb again for Saturday morning - should we get there - it's becoming a GF day tradition !!! (Went there '05, '06 & '12 so lucky '13 is a must!!) I recall feeling like this at this time last year too. I can't sleep!!!

After registering for a P1 ticket I can't afford, I've taken the bold step of booking and paying for my return train trip, which I also can't afford. Which makes me confident that we'll win on Saturday and I'll be broke (but happy).

At least I can get a full (almost) refund on the train fare.

No problems at all, Annew. I had no doubt the Member Services team would have done everything they could to help. Glad to hear it was all resolved in the end, and that you're all set.

Fingers, toe, everything crossed for Saturday!

I managed to get my registration through OK but my only misgiving is that I had eight barcodes on the one transaction. Unfortunately it means you get eight or nothing! If there were only six left together I'd rather take six than nothing at all. It starts to complicate it but it's a shame the ballot can't accommodate a larger order by breaking it down to smaller multiples, say, in the above example you get a combination of six and then two but they're just not together. You'd rather be there even if not together than not be there at all.

The chances are so miniscule of it making a difference that it's not worth bothering with. Each registration has a number which goes into the ballot, regardless of how many people are actually on that registration. When your number is drawn, all people on that registration get a ticket.

The only time your scenario would make a difference is when we are down to the last 8 seats left out of the 10K+ plus allocated to each club. Is it really worth complicating a process which, although I'm not sure why, already seems to confuse many?

An easier option would be to just contact you, letting you know you were the last one drawn and there are 5 seats left, do you want them or not...
