    Well done Cressa

I was pleased to see Daryn Cresswell's Palm Beach Currumbin side beat Springwood for the Flag in the SEQAFL.

His issues have been well documented but I believe everyone deserves a second chance - I read his book and hope that he is continuing to rebuild his life with the support of Joanne as he recovers from the scourge of gambling the sadly affects so many in this nation.

    Well done Cressa!!

Completely agree. Cressa was a magnificent player for us and it's great to hear that after some big problems, things might seem to be going right for him!

Was his book a decent read?

Yeah good to hear, like many, I've got a soft spot for Cressa.

Redemption is sweet, hope he sticks with it.

I'd recommend it. Brutally honest and an incredibly tragic tale. Had no idea he had suffered so much tragedy in his life before gambling addiction took hold.

He seems genuine in his contrition but I guess it's a day to day proposition for anyone who has been in so deep as him...
