I went to the parade today.Reckon I saw no more than four Swannies fans , so it was not quite as good as last year's 
Still,it was lovely to talk to plenty of Freo fans and remember how I felt in 2005. They made a lot more noise than the Hawks fans. Credit to one Hawk , though , who yelled out to the ute "Not YOU , Buddy ! We want Gibbo !"

I ran into Jubba afterwards in Fed Square , quite by accident , and had a very brief chat with him. You can add me to the list of all who say what a smashing lad he is-humble,appreciative,smiling,had plenty of time for the young girls who wanted a photo with him.
Didn't get to see his last game , so it was some compensation to at least shake hands and say thank you to a red and white immortal.
