LOL. So much for the Swans being stupid to try and hold onto a coach who would just be seeing our time until he swooped into Melbourne next year.

There was a lot of talk about the damage that Paul Roos was going to cause the club when he left! So far the Swans have retained Stuart Dew, Lloyd Perris and signed Buddy Franklin.

There has even been talk of the Swans having increased membership enquiries since they signed Franklin!

Great work from the Swans administration and its testament to the strong brand that the Swans have!

Unbelievable! Already discussion on facebook as to Longmire moving to Nth Melbourne in 2017 when Dew takes over. One season at a time please people!

It would probably be a smart move by John. 2017 is about the time I expect the Franklin thing to turn to crap.

Good news about Dew. His wife is just too valuable to be lost from Sydney viewers.

Reported in the Daily Terror this morning that Kennelly has switched camps as well. No thing as loyalty in football.

That was from the Irish Camp to Micky's Indigenous Camp that is.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

I like this a lot. Rate Stuart Dew big time, almost in the same category and the love of my life Stuey Maxfield.

If we can keep Marty that would be brilliant. He has an instinct you can't teach, or you can try, but....

Hope we get Simon Black now. Never respected an opposition player as a more pure footballer.

I think he would be a tremendous asset to the coaching group. A true champion.

Very good news. Marty has the right stuff.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
