    Kirkys lovechild

    2013 in review: Dan Robinson - sydneyswans.com.au

the big question can Daniel go all the way and play Seniors...................regularly ?

I dont know what it is about Daniel but when I have watched him in ressies this year there is something very similar to the way Kirky played in ressies and his first year at the Swans

I don't think he plays anything like Kirky. He is a fair bit more skilled that Kirky. You basically knew what you were getting with Kirky, the working man's footballer, always working hard, very good delivery and straight kick at goal, a little awkward. But with this bloke you never know what he is going to do next, he is one out of the box. Extremely talented and has one of the best ball drops and follow through kicking styles I have ever seen, just beautiful to watch. The highlights were very interesting, one time a one handed mark, then a snap from the boundary then a beautiful set shot. I think the kid has REAL talent but the one thing he has of Kirky is his persistence, he NEVER gives up even if the effort seems too hard, take the one hander, by the laws of physics he should never have got that.

Good luck to Dan for next year he is one of the young talented mids group we are developing and will keep around the club. With Goodsie, ROK & Rhyce possibly retiring next year and Macca, Mal, Benny, LRT, Teddy & Reg all in the twilight of their careers the team will change shape over the next few years.
