    Thanks for that Prims, one of, if not THE best footy article I have read since I don't remember when. A really great insight into these boys lives and how easy it is to go from hero to zero in one foul swoop.

          Thanks Primmy, good article. I wonder if we'll hear more about this idea:

          For me it justifies the argument that the draft age is too young. Mature-age recruiting will be the way to go and with the stories of Duigan, James Podsiadly and Michael Barlow in recent times, it does give one hope.
          He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
