Maybe it's just a flood of anti-Australia articles to coincide with the International match. Here's one on Tadgh:

Tadhg Kennelly has revealed how he developed a deep hatred for his foreign base following the unexpected passing of his father Tim in 2005.

Hmmm that wasn't anti Australia. That is a young man dealing with family issues, expectation and separation. Could be anywhere and any career.

I meant in a sense of missing Ireland by being in Australia. But he did use the words hate Australia.

The Irish journals do like to play up the way some of their footballers miss Ireland and can't wait to get back Home.

Sounds just like the Melbourne media does with ex-Victorian players.

I'm surprised we kept him on actually. On the other hand, it'd be pretty heartless to cut someone in his position I guess.

He's got a year left on his contract, so he has to be included in the 2014 cap. No point in cutting him, even if his chances of success are pretty slim.
