    It's the Buddy Effect.

he is taking as many bets as he can on the swans not making the 8 !!

      extra----ordinary !!!!

A fool and his money are easily parted, can you pass his details on to those of us on RWO so we can get in on this free money

I'll offer him 50/1 for us not making the 8 for as much as he wants to put on

In football, players mark the ball, they don't catch it. I know, I know, I am being an old grump. I'm just glad Roosy won't be commentating any more as he started using the term catch and other commentators seemed to use it as well. It's football folks, not basketball.

          Grump over!!

Rugby is the one that infuriates me. They know its called Rugby League but because most mel*censored*nuses they still call it rugby in an arrogant matter of fact way. You correct them and they still do it. It's there pathetic way to be little a sport.

But i laugh when i call rules "AFL" and they get really mad, even madder when i point out their hypocrisy.

Umm wrong. Been following footy my whole life thanks. A mark is when the ball travels the required distance after someone had kicked it and the person marks the ball by being the only one to catch it. Since they were hand balling, catching is the right assessment.

Can someone clarify for me: Are they 'marking' or 'catching' the ball?
