But during pre-season, I go for a run around Centennial Park and then stop by Lakeside to watch the boys train. Being here for work that luxury is no longer afforded to me :P
The weather is "beautiful", what are you talking about??

I subscribe to this theory. Besides, it is politically incorrect to complain about rain these days (unless it is flooding).

Can we drop all the sports bra talk? It's been a common training aid for a while now..for all clubs. It holds the GPS unit which measures the distances , heart rate etc and other valuable info..I believe they are worn by some players during matches, and is very obviously not a fashion item.

The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Always had to chuckle when the olympics women's beach volleyball was on and the team from Brazil had "BRA" on their tops. Talk about the bleeding obvious ...
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

well dan just puts in 110% in everything he does

                            listen to 2mins 48 seconds onwards !

SwansTV: Sprinting with Shirvo - sydneyswans.com.au

pairing up with Dan Hannebery does sound like it would be the making of you as an elite football athlete or the death of you in pre season !

I was very impressed with how much emotion came thru when shirvo was asked about Dans form and attitude !

Could 2014 be the season that we see Dan truly finish off the season as one of the top 5 midfielders in the comp ?

I'd like to see more Jetta v Shirvo.

Good advice from Shirvo: "Get your glutes on!"

I think Jetts could learn a bit from Shirvo. I always felt that Jetts doesn't take on defenders enough given his speed. He should be able to sidestep and run around defenders and blow them away, but often just stops and kicks. A running Jetta can make a big difference to the team.
