re harrys brother i thought above all we just had too many players like him but better - Rohan, Cunningham, BJ, Membrey, Towers etc that will be fighting for the small to med forward role therefore harrys brother just wouldnt make it at the swans
i think Swampy is on the up for sure and it is great a couple of the players and Horse are chatting about him but it is so hard to tell until we see him in pre season games etc..........especially when every week someone is being featured on the swans site on how they are progressing......but i am a massive fan and he has all the skills, strength in body and height to make it as a very dominant med defender........he reminds me very much of a young Luke Hodge (which is a massive call and no the same junior career) but if he can keep running hard he might make it as that midfielder who plays 50% on the HBF like Mal or Hodge
gee poor old pebbles looked off the pace of parker and the other exciting young swans winning the ball in the middle
It was interesting that Goodes said that Membrey deserves a shot at the Snr team in 2014 as a small forward........for me that sounds like he has certainly improved his defence/pressure up front which is a great sign his fitness and understanding of Snr football is coming along.
Membrey is a difficult matchup and would out muscle most 190cm tall defenders - therefore if we did go with a very tall forward line we would certainly stretch teams on quality defenders being able to contain our forward line
