I'd agree with pretty much everything said so far. I have a new respect for ugg's typing speed and ability to watch the game at the same time. I think I did pretty well for my first crack at it though!

I was right near Garry Jack and he was laughing heartily when Kizza tackled Buddy (and gave him a few good-natured words for afters). Jack Sr was very impressed. i also agree with the comments on B Jack. He's bigger but has lost no speed. He's going to be a star.

Thanks to the various RWO types for their interactions back with me on Twitter too. It made it even more fun to be there.

Great to see Davo running around, having the time of his life. It was an excellent afternoon and I'm sure everyone connected with the club was delighted with the turn out.

Great work by the club to put the whole match on the website for everyone to view. I haven't watched it yet (I'm at work), but is there commentary with the footage ?

Kinda. However all the boys had their own numbers, even when they swapped colours, so its 'easy' to pick them with a team sheet.

great to see Harry Cunningham do well in the midfield as he played in tight aswell as wider and a couple of the times received the tap down moved it out clean

Harry may get the jump on Jetts for a wing spot in the early weeks if injury is still holding jetts back ...... and even then harry in my opinion will be very very close to the 22 anyway

There was a group standing behind me connected with James Dunn, so I heard about it every time he touched the ball. He's been a fairly regular top-up in the reserves for the last season or two. I suspect most of the toppies were the older players who've played with the reserves team. They probably wouldn't want to put the younger guys in against the seasoned senior players. I recognised the slight, blond guy who's played many games for the reserves over the last few seasons but his name has escaped from the tip of my tongue.

Didn't 38 have dark hair? Very tall lad. I heard he was an international player from North America.

Doug Hadden? I think he wore blue #42 at the end.
