    White Knight

Only early days but a 5 goal debut for Jesse against the Cats vs a nil goal return from 6 shots in an intra club match for Buddy?
Maybe $9.3M for 9 years & $7K for Jesse would have been a better spend ...

Um total apples and pears. Their preseasons have been vastly different. Intra v preseason match. No comparison possible. (See TDL's 8 goal haul)

Loved watching the vision of Jesse's goal kicking. I hope he shines. Can't stay mad at him.

I will be mad at him if he decides to do what we all hoped and start kicking bags of 5-6. But as they say it takes a big man years to mature. If he does start kicking bags this year expect him to the new magpies darling.

I cant help but feel that its going to be our turn to loose a gun player to another club with White.

But yeah totally different, buddy is a proved match winner jesse well yeah lets just leave it at that.

If Jesse turns into a gun at Collingwood, good on him.

The upside is Adelaide fans will continue to vent their spleen for many more years. Thats gotta be a good thing.

Anyone who reads my posts knows I'm a huge fan of Jesse White. He will have a big year at Collingwood, and it's good to see him off to a good start with Buckley.

He may kick between 45 and 60 goals this year and will have a big performance in him against the Swans.

We should all be happy for him. If he did not shine in the back end of 2013, he could have been delisted and out of AFL football. The people who criticised him for years should put their hands up and apologise to me right now! He has been great value from pick 70 odd in the 2006 draft.

He wants to be in Melbourne,,Eddie can help with his T-Shirt label and he will play great football for Collingwood.

We need to give Franklin two years before we judge him!

He farted around for 7 years, teasing and never reaching his potential until he pulled his finger out with a dozen games to go before contract negotiations. Not sure it's the RWO critics who should be doing the apologising...

...and even then he was only producing what was expected of him in his role. It was quite a surprise to see him actually contribute for a change.

This. There was even a quote from him saying something along the lines of he didn't realise how hard he had to try until last year. So he tried for one season after basically doing nothing other than accept large sums of money from us, then he takes the biggest offer and runs after playing a handful of good games.

He wouldn't have played a game with Buddy in the side anyway but personally I'm not going to be cheering him on at Collingwood.

Absolutely!! Nothing more galling than having potential and wasting it year after year.

Surprise, surprise. Play White at full forward, keep him there and he kicks goals.

I read a few comments from Pies fans and they were bemoaning the fact that almost all his goals were crumbing goals, rather from marks. I haven't watched the game past the first quarter, but his inconsistency in taking the marks that a big man is meant to take has been one of the things that frustrated us over the years. Quick as he is, good as he is at ground level for such a big bloke, it will be interesting to see if how far he can contribute for the Pies on the scoreboard as a crumber.

I 'll take that as a personal apology Triple B. I know deep down that you have a signed poster off Jesse White and collect all his football cards. You probably bought two dozen Jesse White label T-Shirts and gave them to all your workers for Christmas.

I know you admire Jesse and want him to do really well at Collingwood. Be true to yourself and to me and admit that you have been on the Jesse express since it arrived at More Park in late 2006!
