In another thread someone asked where Swans' fans could meet up either before or after the Round 3 match in Adelaide. I've been sent a booking form for a pre-match function (as a PDF) but can't work out how to load it. In summary the details are:

The Swans are having a Pre-Match Function in Adelaide before the Sydney v Crows game Sat 5 April where all Swans' fans will be able to get together. $20 Adults, $10 children. This covers finger food and guest speakers, and a chance to win raffle prizes including a 2014 full team-signed guernsey. Drinks at bar prices. To be held in the Grayson's Room at the Mercure Grosvenor Hotel, 125 North Terrace Adelaide which is just up the road from the Adelaide Oval. This commences at 11.30am. Contact the Sydney Swans Melbourne Office (1300 663 819) and book with them by Fri 28 March. They will send you a wristband to get into the function.

Something is going on with communications from the club to my membership.... only just saw this message about rd 3 tickets on here now, and I dont seem to get any newsletters etc from the club anymore. Will have to investigate next week.

I know they go on public sale on monday, hope I get a ticket through that. Anyone know where the swans cheer squad is going to be at the adelaide oval so I can try to get a ticket near by?

Wasn't sure how quickly they would sell out. The Showdown was sold out quickly apparently (granted its a showdown, but didn't want to miss out)

Yeh im worried about it too, but message above suggested had to contact the club by thursday. 2000 tickets for the showdown made it to general release, so surely at least that many will for our game over there. So get in quick and you should be fine

I've been having the same trouble with newsletters. All of a sudden I stopped getting them. I've contacted the club and the email address is right so I'm not sure what's going on. We've tried another fix now so am waiting until next week to see if it has worked.

Log in to your members account on the website, and there is an email preferences thing. I looked in there and found every single newsletter was unchecked. I have now ticked the relevant ones, will be interested to see if I actually get them now.

Anyone managed to buy a ticket via Ticketek? You can't buy one without entering a membership barcode but it is not recognising my Swans membership barcode. Are they only available to Adelaide members today?

Liz the Swans earlier email told us general public tickets on sale from 18 March ie tomorrow. I checked Ticketek yesterday and it said on sale from 9am 17 March. That message now gone but I am having same problem as you. So yes I think must only be Crows members today and general public tomorrow.

Yep that's what I found too meg, seems to be crows today and public tomorrow. The ticketek website is confusing on that point, but that is what the evil Crows website suggested is the case.

Got a ticket without any trouble this morning. Being by myself probably helped. Got a ticket in row A of section 340, looks pretty nice (although looking at the virtual venue will be watching the game through a strange glass front to the stand!) - although if its a sunny day will need to take plenty of sunscreen with me. Lookign forward to it.

I managed to get a ticket as well, with only minor dramas. Pretty happy with the seat - second tier on the wing, which is the perfect spot for watching AFL in my opinion. No doubt I will be surrounded by Crows fans but I survived Skilled Stadium as a lone Swan in amidst a sea of Cats so this can't be too much worse, can it?
