One of the good stories coming out of the injury report has been the progress of Tommy Walsh. I had all but written him off due to the seriousness and long recovery period of his hamstring tears. But it now seems that he will be ready to play football again after nearly a year since the incident.

With AJ out for the year and LRT perhaps struggling to get back to previous form and fitness, Tommy may have a chance to fill a key defender role. We can certainly use another KPP at the moment, as we don't seem able to keep enough off the injury list.

    Good luck Tommy.

If LRT doesn,t play this week I hope that the replacement will be a ruckman probably Derickx as a back-up to help Pyke.
