GWS loss still hurts. We should be outright 2nd.

All three losses came at home. Should we have had any of them?

GWS loss was an away game. Or if you mean in sydney in General then yeh I guess that's a home game as well

Depends which way you look at it, you could say we should have won all three given that the team didn't play anywhere near as well as what we now know they are capable of. On the other hand, losing to Collingwood and North Melbourne, even at home, doesn't look nearly as bad now that Collingwood are level with the top 4 on number of wins and North have now won twice in Perth this year. The GWS loss is the most disappointing one, we need to atone for that one next time we play them.

Following the loss to Richmond, GWS looked like the bye, but given how they did against Hawthorn, they now look significantly more competitive....

7 on the trot now! Win against Port gives us a great chance of securing a top 4 spot.

We've only lost 1 at home. The other 2 losses were at Homebush.

What chance if both Buddy and Kurt are missing?

If we can beat the Giants this week, make it to 10 on the trot and get to 11-3, we would have well and truly gotten going
Impossible to know what would have happened if we hadn't lost three of the first four, but will take 11 of the first 14 every year.

With away games against Eagles, Hawthorn and Port still to come..still a long way from finalising a top four spot.

The round 1 loss to GWS means that to secure a top two spot we can only afford to drop another 1 or if results go our way 2 games for the rest of the year. That result hurts us big time, no douobt about it.

Hawthorn have a hard run home and still with injuries and a disrupted season, I reckon they'll slip, at least a little. Port have a few tough games too and surely they have to have a dud week/s soon. i estimate about a 70% chance we finish top 2

Surreal to think was was happening when this thread was started to now. 11 in a row! First place on the ladder!
Let's beat Carlton and equal the streak

I think the Freo will work their way up the ladder and Hawks and Port may drop a couple of spots. I have a feeling that by the finals they'll be in good form.
