He'll kick 64 goals in 2004 - putting him head to head with Micky for the title of Sydney's top goalkicker.

Mick will eventually win, kicking 66 goals.

          Err... no.

BTW - shouldn't this be moved to the main board where it'll get more traffic?

I agree with the majority, 60-80.

He could kick over 80 but I don't think he will. I went for 60-80. He's not a proliffic goalkicker. I think he'll probably kick as many goals at CHF, as he would at FF as he doesn't get as many opportunities when playing at FF. I hope he plays at CHF (as that is his best position), and kicks about 70 goals. That would be an excellent season, with Micky chipping in with 60 or 70 as well.

Don't forget the 45+ that will come from a fitter, more focussed ND, at least 30 from a combination of Ball/Doyle resting in the goal square, and hopefully an improved tally from a maturing Schneiderman (40, say).

Goodes will spend all summer practising his goal kicking and will manage at least 25, O'Keefe will have a more consistent season and kick close to 30, B1 will kick two vital goals on the run in the GF victory over Port (bring his tally to 22 for the year), Fossie will improve his conversion rate to where it should be, Maxfield and Willo will continue to contribute their long-range goals, Fixter will burst back onto the scene and play concurrently as an on-baller, back pocket and dynamo small forward, kicking at least 15, Saddo, B2 and Leo will contribute at least one goal each, McVeigh will kick 5 goals on debut...

OK, I'll stop my day dreaming now.

Being less flippant for a moment, if the midfield can lift just a notch to get their hands on the ball in the centre more often, we certainly have the ammunition up forward to deliver a goal fest next season.

We ranked 6th in goals scored last year, 21 behind the Weagles who led. A reasonable target for next year would be 340 (up 20 from this year) or approximately 1 more per game.

That could be easily achieved if someone has a ripper of a year or all the best 22 kick one more per year.

I think the even distribution of goals around the team is one of the keys to the Swans success and encourages everyone to make an offensive contribution.
