Just watched a reply of the game.
I believe that is the best footy we have played since the 2012 GF.
Tom D. played his best game for the club. Loved the way Parker throws his body into the packs - a lot of Paul Kelly in him. Shaw, Smith and Rampe had quiet games. But our midfield were the stars. Hanners, Joey, Bird, Jack were amazing.
When we get more games into the "big four" and the weather remains dry we will scare a lot of sides with our tacking and ball movement.
Agree that LRT and ROF will struggle to get back in the team and we still have Rohan and Mitchell in the reserves.Comment

Straighter kicking would have seen the score much more closely reflect the Swans' overall dominance. I think we were 8-16 at one point in the third quarter. Straighten three of those kicks up, and we're 11-13 and really putting the pressure on. Watching Hill and Rioli get on their bikes was terrifying: poor Laidler looked a bit like a traffic cone a couple of times; Smooch was outpaced but clever and just works the angles so well. But the engine room work of Hannebery, Midge, Parker and Kennedy was outrageously good. And isn't Clarkson a miserable so-and-so?Comment

wow PORT are one serious team to watch play
just awesome awesome awesome running game to watch
I must say the pressure we brought against the HAwks last night, puts us in good stead against the Bombers, Cats and Port over the next month or so given our execution is still no were it needs to be and can be"be tough, only when it gets tough"

A screen shot on Fox Football states "Bondi Billionaires Hold Off Hurting Hawks In Blockbuster".
The perception around the league is that the Swans are highly paid Bondi Boys. Are the Swans losing their trademark blue collar bloods brand perception?
I personally don't mind because Bondi Billionaires never shy away from a dust up!Comment

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

Derickx will still be no 2 ruckman behind pike, and not in our best 22. Our best 22 could be a pike /Reid combo for ruck, considering the hieght we have elsewhere.
Of the 2005 premiership players, id say ROK is done. LRT. is probably a depth player now primarily covering an injury to richards or grundy, and Goodes will play cameos but no longer able to string a full season together.Comment

Goodes as super sub. They floated it on the post match and I think it's the ideal scenario.I wish my weed was EMO so it would cut itselfComment
