      When so many were declaring Derickx the worst player in the league since Mike Pyke, I wondered if they'd learnt nothing from the egg-faced BT. I've long considered D-Rex an international rookie and checking his passport, you'll find he's from Tigerland - a country not known for its player development. There was always room for improvement and who better to help realise that potential than us? It's what we do - make average players good and good players great.

      No doubt, one complete shocker from Derickx and some'll be quick with their knives but I'll not abandon him so soon. He's one of us now and after all, there's nothing more Swannish than a Swan!
