    Match Thread Sydney v Essendon

    Rarely dull v Essendon.Quite the reverse,in fact.

We are averaging eight points a game scored more and one point per game less conceded.
    Not much in it.

Our favourite terrier , Benny , is out . Never mind , we should still win.
    Swans by +25 : 95 to 70 , 90 to 65 or similar.

And remember , whatever the result , the final siren does not mean the end of the entertainment tonight.
Cos there is still Thompson's press conference to come.

Crowd: 17,320 (sheesh, Melbournites- turn up to a game for once!)
          Margin: Swans by 21
          First Goal: Cunningham
          Top Goal Scorer: Franklin
First 50 metre given away: Richards
          First dropped sitter: Malceski
First out of bounds on the full: Hanners
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

            I predict a 621 point win

My money's on Franklin playing a big decoy role while Parker and Tippett take them apart.

I just want 4 points and and injury free 2 hour training drill.

The way the Dons are playing - and I am expecting the Swans to click this week - it should be a drubbing. Anything less will be disappointing.

                          Tippett - 12
                          Buddy - 8
                          Reid - 4

And 2 each to Goodes, Kennedy, Jack, Hannebery, McVeigh, Jetta, Malcheski, Cunningham, Parker, Horse, Davis and Kenny.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Jake Carlisle the sub for Essendon. What a crazy decision. Bomber's gone mad, I think.

I'm hearing from my sources that they'll be using a yellow ball this evening.
