    Milestones

Special mention to 2 special players who are approaching Life membership after the bye.

A guy who has held down the back line with Ted even through alot of negativity direct his way Heath Grundy is set to play 150 games against the Gold Coast Suns. We will see how many swans fans get around him at the game with banners and chants :P

Co captain KJ plays his 150th the week after against the power. That games at home so expect a crowd support there for that one.

Both premiership players and valuable contributors to our team week in week out.

    Both Deserving LIFE MEMBERSHIP.

Feels like he's been around much longer than that. He's been such a steady (some will debate that) important part of the team down back. Good stuff.

Yeah, I remember seeing Grundy's age at the start of the year and being surprised that he was younger than I thought.
Ted has a few years on him.

Often maligned, which I don't really understand. He would be picked by all 17 other teams. I think Reg is great and well done to him!
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Ok so the subsidy is $20k pre tax. Which is not enough really. Sounds like a detail to be ironed out

Great performer Grundy. Has been very solid
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

Although if it is a flat amount for all eligible players it will be more than current COLA for lower paid players (who need it most ).

Agree about. Grundy. Have always liked him. Part of a great partnership with Ted et al.

What I've noticed most about Heath "Renly" "Reggy" Grundy this year is his resilience. It used to be an early error would snowball into others and ruin his entire game. A bad game from Richards or Smith usually just meant they went missing but one from Reg and he would forget which side he was on! Now a mistake doesn't rattle him and he even makes ammends. We can rely on him now and expect the best.

Felicitations to you Heath on 150th game and here's to many more!
