I agree one game at a time. I think the Geelong game will be the toughest of all 3. Port will be tough but they are a much better team at home, away they can be vulnerable. Hawks, freo and cats they have won in Adelaide.

I know this is not about the next three weeks, but I'm looking forward to playing the Giants.
Everyone thought they were the new Football force after beating the Swans in round one. They have now fallen back in the pack and have been beaten by over 100 points by two teams outside the eight.
They allegedly verbal Swans players with some poor comments directed at BenMcGlynn.
They are all talk and can?t win a game in dry weather. One of their better young players is on a suspended and Jeremy Cameron is refusing to enter into contract discussions to keep him at the club beyond 2015.
I want and dry day with Tippett, Franklin, Reid and Goodes putting them to the sword.Comment

Good non-vic teams win all their home games, so I see the biggest danger game being against the Suns at Metricon.
My god, if we lose to them the football world will be turned on its head. The Suns will have arrived, and look like staying at the top for a long while.Comment

We really need to win all of these to maintain our credibility as a contender. If we can't beat Port and Geelong when we're in form and at home, it's hard to imagine us beating them on their turf.

I'd be happy with 2 from 3. I'd be very disappointed if we lose to the Suns, despite their very good improvement this year. They were walloped by the Hawks earlier in the year, and beaten easily by Freo. We must turn up though for that game - not just 'expect it to happen' like we did against GWS in rd 1.
The other two will be tough, but they are both at home. We have such a poor overall record against Geelong, that I am never confident going in to a match against them. If we can start well and get on top, then I think we can go on with the job against them.

6 losses may put us out of the top 4 at the end of the H&A season. We have away games vs Hawthorn and Port to come and expect to lose. So we really can't afford to lose another game and reasonably hope to win the premiership. We put ourselves in this predicament by capitulating to GWS in round 1 and dropping home games to the Pies and North.
We have a horrid record against Geelong, but simply have to win this one.
I noticed that the GWS reserves team slaughtered the Suns reserves 210-19 over the weekend. How can that happen? It was a Suns home game too. I bring up the point because clearly one team is not switched on. We need to be switched on and stay switched on for the rest of the season. We used up our 'get out of gaol free' cards in the first four rounds.Comment

Three poor losses earlier this year has us under the pump as things are very tight at the top. All three of these games are 8 point games, if we lose to any of these teams I doubt we will be able to pick them up in the run home as we'd be relying on other teams beating them and us not dropping another game.
Win all three, then pull GWS pants down and we can finish with home finals. Lose one or more and we'll be battling to scrape into 4th.
Don't think I've ever seen a batch of games with so much resting on them. We can and should win all three, two at home against the big guns, got to beat them at home.Comment
