    Melbourne/Sydney attitudes to us

We now seem to be reversing the previous years' trends of being loved by Melbourne media and fans and being hated or ignored by Sydney media.

Wilson in today's Tele, who has previously assaulted the Swans and especially Buddy, comes out with a love the Swans piece.

Fitzsimons in this weekend's SMH claims he is now on board the Swans....this after early season crazy rants re us and Buddy.

And the Melb outfits, led by the cringeworthy, racist, (anything to be on the front page) McGuire, are all over us re COLA, the Academy and whatever else they can drag up.

Longmire has his team doing the right thing through all this bull@@@@...just keep your heads down and take it a game at a time.

    I'm loving it.

The bois need to keep their heads on straight. The Mick Melthouse comments are just as bad. He comes out in disguise to try to destabilise the club from the last 10 players on the list up

Just a very poor effort by Mick to take the pressure of his non performing team, and to help justify Mick getting an extension to his contract.

Hey Royboy, any chance you could post the links to the Fitzsimons and Wilson articles? I've scoped the net for them but I can't find them? Are they definitely in today's papers?

The fitz bit is in the fitz files, a funny plea for us to squeeze up and let him on the bandwagon, even though he was slashing its tyres earlier in the year
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

Fitzie has worked out there's great amusement to be had in skewering himself when he gets it wrong. A good model for all media practitioners, not that I'm mentioning any specific Collingwood presidents.

And there are the mighty Swannies! They?ve won their past 11 games, sit entirely astride the top of the table, are firm favourites to win the flag and ... (And what? How dare I try to jump aboard the very same bandwagons that I was caught attempting to let down all four tyres on earlier in the year. Oh, come on, you bastards, stop being so freaking SENSITIVE! And move over!)

Fitzy has the great ability to be able to take the pee out of himself and to also have nice subtle digs at idiots in the same column. It's quite endearing and the bandwagon thing is spot on for a team like the 2014 Swannies

                  He's a rah-rah bandwagoning tosser.
He had such a rant about Buddy, like he freakin knew what he was talking about. It irked me so much that I replied to that column and said that when he had an idea about what he was talking about, I'd be here waiting to feed him fries with his words.
I'm off to the kitchen to start cooking....
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
