Was surprised at the low number.

Isn't it great when 36K is a low number?

        I thought the same.

But if I was a casual and was getting my Antarctic gear out (thermals - check, gloves - check, neck gaiter and beanie - check, check) when I heard the news Buddy was out of the game I'd probably fire up Foxtel and put the kettle on.

Anyone got a view if last night, the Blues or the ?? was the coldest night game this year? I can't decide.

Last night was a Canberra winter night. A warmish one but still genuinely very cold and required dressing in layers. Something I've never experienced at Sydney or Melbourne footy before.

Reckon the clod kept several thousand away which, whilst quite soft, shows the off field roll we are now.

Indeed being "disappointed" with "only" 36,000 is a good thing

I haven't seen so many 'tools' at a Swans game for a while - the crowd could have been even smaller but for them. September success must be around the certain

The blues, but only just - I think the wind blew stronger and for a bit longer.

I'd tend to agree and the light rain didn't help either that night.
In saying that, Fri night did feel cooler at times :S
