    Match Thread Swans v Power

Franklin and Hannebery are back for us.
Neade (I like this lad) and Trengove are back for Port , who are on a poor run but paying $3.10 to win is a bit generous.
Westhoff is named - he's a fine player when he is on song.

Port has a marginally better attack , but we have a far superior defence.

The virus problem must work in our favour , though the health of the players - opponents or not - is a greater concern than the outcome of one football game.

Light winds and a bit of late rain forecast in Adelaide.

I predict a very tough match. Port will be as desperate as the Tigers were against the Bombers last night.

    Swans by 5 points.

I have a feeling they'll be in it for most of the game but we'll get away from them at one point.
    Swans by 4-5 goals

              Rhyce Shaw's take:

The Swans are playing the Power on Saturday night. Some of the Power players have been hit with viral meningitis. Swan Rhyce Shaw was asked if he is concerned: ?I lived with my brother (GWS star Heath Shaw) for 15 years, he's the most unhygienic bloke I've ever met, so I should be sweet.?

How is Port's attack better than ours?

Port's attack is deadlier than ours if you're looking at the highlight reel. That Chad Wingard bloke is everywhere

Unlike that Buddy chappy that we recruited. What a dud!

And we have razor Ray Chamberlain -AGAIN!!! I think he has surpassed Darren Goldspink in the crap and annoying umpire stakes!!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Just arrived in Adelaide. The plane crew suggested we might expect a few showers this afternoon but the low cloud doesn't yet look like it holds any rain. It's a lovely mild day with barely a whisper of a breeze. If this holds out, it will be nigh on perfect conditions for footy.

What about also having to overcome Wretchmond in the last round? :-)
