    QBE Sponsorship

Sydney Swans and QBE extend partnership - sydneyswans.com.au

I know this is not nearly as interesting as game threads, player retirements, and ROK's September challenge ... but I really want to say a big thanks to both QBE and the Swans management who have kept this sponsorship going through thick and thin for 28 years so far and now will go out to 33 years. Considering all the ups and downs of our club during that time AND the tough financial times QBE would have also been through, this is a remarkable commitment. Not sure if any other AFL club can match this, or any other Australian sporting entity for that matter.

Can't see that's still going to be the case in the next few years though.

Ah yes, Ford and the Cats is also a very good one ... until they pull stumps in a couple of years maybe.

I think they will continue, they will be still selling fords here. Cats are successful. I guess time will tell.

I have acknowledged QBE's efforts with the Swans with some of of my insurance business (not that it would make a cents difference to their bottom line).
            All helps though.
They have been strong and loyal.

I'm with Merkin here. Volkswagen haven't manufactured in Australia for years, but they're one of our major sponsors.
