Hannaberry won when Daniel rich (the run away winner that year) got suspended.

It was Dusty Martin that many people thought should have been the favourite the year Hanners won, but was ineligible because he had been suspended. Personally, I thought Hanners' year was every bit as good as Martin's, and while Martin has also gone on to become a pretty good player, I'd have Hanners comfortably ahead of him thus far.

Yeh certainly...an All-Aus and premiership definitely has him ahead! Imagine how good Dusty could be if he had Dan's tank though! That's a scary thought.

Bit harsh that comment don't you think? I think that peoples perception is the key issue with Martin. Still a handy enough player but definitely no Hannebury

For mine, Aish could be runner up to Bontempelli. Aish looks like he could be a helluva footballer, but there's something about Bontempelli - he's a fabulous mover and someone the Bulldogs should make sure they hold onto for a long time......

Martin is a deadest gun. Still needs to work on his tank but he's got Hanners covered in some areas - foot-skills, goalkicking, explosiveness. He's having a really good season. I'd only have Hanners slightly in front.

I would go with Kolodjashnji but I think Bontempelli is a certainty to get it.
