I can't go unfortunately. It is my ex's birthday on Friday. Hsaving a party in Newtown. So I thought I'd make an excuse and be a little late but going to ANZ won't cut it, damn. I will have to watch the game from the Alexandria or another pub close to King St. does anyone know if there is a pub near King St Newtown that has the game on? The birthday is at the Coopers Arms and I doubt they will have anything like sport on.Comment

I fancy myself as a Sydney weather forecaster...So I'm happy to contradict the BOM.
It's a dry westerly wind from Wednesday to Friday...A very soft/gentle Southerly change Friday morning, then back to a dry westerly.
I predict a generally dry sunny day at Homebush, and a dry evening.....Therefore a dry match.

Hes an idea.. shall we rest malceski so hes cherry ripe for the granny?

I wouldn't be against not risking Mal for this week. He is absolutely vital to the way we set up, he is a proven big game player and I'm reasonably confident we'll win Friday night with or without him.
That being said I'd be surprised if he doesn't play. If he's going to do his hammy again he'd be better off doing it against norf than hawf (presumably).
If he doesn't play though, who do we think comes in?
I'd say Mitchell comes in and we move McVeigh to half back...North has quite a few slower paced, inside mids so we wouldn't be exposed on that front and Tommy is getting better by the week.
Interesting to see Towers play off half-back in the reserves GF on Sunday though...maybe he could be a smokey?Twitter @cmdil

Really Barry....RWO's obsession????
I wonder what percentage of posts about "stadia" are yours...I'm guessing a disproportionate amount.
I think they'll want Mal to play this week. So his fitness test will be make or break.
If he gets through the prelim, they will know he's right to go next week.
They won't want to be worrying about his hammy 2 days out from a GF.Last edited by ernie koala; 16 September 2014, 02:42 PM.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment
