I've learned to ignore the critics of Adam Goodes. Reasoning for their hatred is truly absurd. Some people foolishly thrive on negativity. We love him and he's ours!

Thanks for that, great story, as you said what a champion he is.
Yes, I am also sick of reading and hearing all the hatred directed at Adam and the Swans team in general, infact it has made this season a stress for me, but then I think of where we have finished our season " On Top Of The Ladder.

Adam has played many great games for us, but as was mentioned who could forget the 2012 Grand Final, as they say Cometh the Man, Cometh our champion.

Yeh agree 100%...couldn't stop reading no matter how angry it made me.

The thing that concerns me the most is how he'll be remembered in 5, 10 or 20 years. It would be a travesty if this negativity towards him continued...imagine what people would say if he became Prime Minister.

Goodes is making a habit of timing his milestones with finals. He played his 300th game in the second semi-final in 2011 against Hawthorn. But I don't want that match to be an omen for Friday night as we lost by 36 points!

I see the vilification of Goodes as a positive in that the only way that Australia's racists can talk about how they feel is anonymous, online and against an individual footballer.

Goodes has taken away some of their privileges so no wonder they're angry.
