That is good news. Now we just need to sign Ryder for good measure.

Hmmm, nothing official from the Swans yet. That's strange.

It with happened the last player re-signing - forget who - the story was leaked, presumably by the player manager, before the club announced it. THen the club released the news a day or two later. The club has its own news cycle.

There was an article in the Herald Sun about it. Now of course they have been known to get things wrong!

Derrickx I think. Maybe it's a ruckman thing?

They had to lock in Derrickx before he got signed up by Sixty Minutes.

Sources within the Swans. Though they did also tell me that it had been made public.

Take it to the bank though.

I read Ryder is meeting with GWS - Sydney don't have enough salary cap for Paddy!

Big Swan Pyke re-signs despite COLA hiccup - AFL.com.au

The AFL site now has a confirmation up.

You have to love Pyke and his attitude - looking forward to him having a big one on Saturday (you could argue that he is close to the most important cog in our team - he must play well for us to win).

Looking forward to him reaching 100 games next year - lets hope it is as a dual Premiership player as well
