That would explain the strange wording in the article and anonymity aroud 'Jimmy'
Where does that leave southsideswan's story, as posted above?......

I'll take it then, that there may...or may not...be a trainer called 'Jimmy' ??

As explained in the article Jimmy is unable to be a public figure due to day job. It is a fascinating story. It goes beyond AFL and actually more into NRL. It will make an interesting story one day. I'm not sure what the secrecy is about but thats the way it is. I do not know where he is or what he is doing so that is the way it is. He did say once that Jakes brother are talented. Its the first time I have seen them mentioned.

        I hadn't read southsideswan's post, I wasn't calling you a liar mate sorry!

Perhaps it's that secretive that people in Horsham don't even know about Jimmy?

It couldn't have been Jake's dad that was training you? Pretty strange situation! a great distraction from the countdown to tonight, if nothing else.

An interesting read and will there be a mini series about Jimmy? (AKA Micky from the Rocky movies..)

          This has to be him

Jimmy was mentioned in Andrew Wu article on Jake a few months back, but not by name. It also mentioned about his conditioning training with Souths and parramatta. Its great that this is worth discussing, means scrapping the bottom of the barrel a bit. Is it all too good for tonight? Hope so.

Who knows what really went on. You can tell Mark Robinson anything and he'd believe it. He falls just short of admitting to being the most gullible person in journalism.

                I'm enjoying this story...

A shadowy figure, 'Mythical Jimmy', who may or may not be real, appears from nowhere in the middle of the night, sometimes in an oxygen mask.

Then by day he melds back into society unnoticed....Leaving his victim in a pool of his own vomit.

                No wonder he wants anonymity.

I've long admired Jake but is this story getting weird? Not helped by Ernie above - who doesn't do that melding back into society thing?

If I wasn't completely in red and white (down to my underwear) I could do the same today or any other day.

Different hair & eye colour, skin tone. 'Looks like a beard poking out below the oxygen mask. Two different guys for sure.

Unless this Jimmy is a mate of Tony's, standing in to help protect his secret identity.
