Am I right in saying Swans total = 96 and was the highest aggregate of any team?

Swans polled the most total votes with 96. Hawks second on 91.

Yes that was what I thought as it flashed past on the TV screen! Fitting result and good omen for Saturday!

I think that might be the third year in a row that the Swans have polled the most votes.

Congratulations to Priddis - felt a bit for him because you sensed he felt a bit embarrassed. He shouldn't be. He's ultra consistent. I bet the AFL is glad he outvoted Fyfe too.

Congratulations to Matt Priddis....deserving winner..A fabulous, consistent, tireless, inside mid.

Comes across as a lovely, down to earth, humble fellow.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT

But AFL might be a bit red-faced that Priddis didn't get AA selection.

                    Another rookie-listed player does good.....

If it couldn't be a Swan, he's just about the next best option. Good on him...

Here's an even better omen : A Swan won a Brownlow in 2006 - but not in 2005 or 2012.

Classy, sharp, not pretentious, similar vertical and horizontal dimensions, I like it!
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Yeah, great to see a rookie-drafted player win it.

2014 is the first year since 2000 that Adam Goodes has not received a Brownlow vote. He didn't score votes in his first two years and then received votes every year from 2001 to 2013.

Priddis seems like a genuinely good person and good on him for winning it, but I don't think he's in the best 30 players in the AFL.

The All-Aus selectors shouldn't be red-faced, they definitely know more about our game than the umpires do.
