    AJ

Pain not just on the field on grand final day

Poor guy, this time of year must be the worst for him, I really hope they can sort out the infection and he can return the way he wants to.

I feel so sorry for AJ - hope he keeps his chin up and the dream alive. If there was one thing I could change about the last couple of years for the Swannies, it would be AJ's wretched luck.

If he does make it back out, I don't care where we are playing, I will be making sure I am there to cheer him back onto the field when he returns.

We will never forget his heroics in 2012 - and as a Swans family, we don't forget about one of our own, especially one of the few that sit in our small (but hopefully soon to grow) Premiership medallion holding part of the family!
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."

We are doing well but missing him nevertheless. I too hope they can get rid of this wretched infection so we can se this very gifted and determined player back in action.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
